It is a natural cave with a wall in front, about 2 km east of Antakya and at the foot of the mountain, near the Antakya-Reyhanlı road. It was used as a church in the early periods of Christianity and was one of the apostles who came to Antakya to spread Christianity (first half of the 1st century AD). The front of this church, named after Pierre, was closed in later periods. The church, which is still a unit of the museum, was built by Pope VI. It was declared a place of pilgrimage by Paul in 1963. Every year, the Catholic church holds a mass here on June 29, and a large congregation attends this ceremony.
There is a giant bust carved into the rocks near the church. Called Haron and IV. The bust made during the reign of Antiochus, BC. II. It was built to stop deaths during a plague epidemic in the century.
